newer wheels on older truck

    Has anyone put modern wheels on an older truck? is it possible? i have a 92 k1500 and im curious if it can be done?

    I’m running 22” reps on 33s as long as the wheels are Chevy 6 lug you shouldn’t have my problems.

    The 6 lug bolt pattern is the same for the newer trucks as it was back to 1988, maybe even before that. There are several members on here running wheels from newer trucks on there GMT 400s.

    8 lug is the same 8x6.5 it’s basically the same on the all Chevy, dodge and ford except the stupid duties they went metric.

    GM changed in 2010 or 2011. They use a larger 8-lug pattern now.

    I just put these on a few weeks ago 2019 Silverado 18inch new take offs, still not sure if I like them or not.

    Mine are off a 2011 Tahoe is what I was told. But I’m running 305/70/18’s or 35’s
