What'd you use, swaggerwagon? Elephant ear mirrors FOR TEH WIN!

Krylon satin black...with prep of course, you gotta sand the metal so it will take paint...

WAIT, i thought you had to sandblast that **** for it to be painted?? This is good news, i want to paint my ****** chrome bumpers!

i just used sandpaper to rough up my bumpers before paint...some good quality primer before paint helps also...

To put the new mirrors on you will ahve to take off the whole panel. the elephant ears look good in black too. I thought black was an option from factory though?

they were...but usually on the w/t models..I just replaced my passenger side mirror(cracked glass) with a w/t mirror, it was factory black...

I Hate the dumbo's I will be switching to the new mirros on my 91. Need a set of manuals. Ive been trying to find some at the wrecker but they are all beat to $hit. How much did they end up costing you JJ ?
