My "new" 1993 Sierra K1500

Well..... I didn't put in new lifters into the motor and I already have the heads on...so...have to remove the heads and install new lifters which mean, I need to buy a new gasket because they cannot be reused. 2 steps forward, one step back.

Also found out the original rocker stands won't fit the new heads, so currently can't install the rockers. Lucky Summit is a 30 min drive from my house.

So when I decided to replace my 30 year old stock suspension on my 1993 k1500, I went ahead and upgraded my brakes and replaced the calipers, rotors, brake lines, and convert rear drums to calipers. I used the Little Shop Manufacturing rear brake conversion kit... I did this last fall, just never posted it

Both boys have been turning wrenches with me... They are still little so can only get about 15 to 20 minutes worth of work, but still fun
Absolutely same here my boys are now 7 and 9 so they are able to do a bit more child labor lol

Paint job #2 for engine after this rebuild... Primer is on... Doing oil pan and waterpump as well.
