I appreciate the mileage info from all as I try to see if I can get to 16 to 17 highway. It looks like everyone's is all over the board. I've questioned my timing because it's so week since I bought it almost a year ago but I've never checked it yet. Sometimes I even question that with a timing light as sometimes the harmonic balancer has been known to slip the outer ring and rubber. Anyhow, appreciate everyone's comments. It looks like the 96 and up vortecs are just a lot more efficient. I'm partial to the old school TBI's though due to nostalgia and simplicity. Sometimes I wish I had a Vortec though.
