Lowered 2 door 2wd

I need some help. I bought the Belltech Kit to lower my 2 door 2wd. I did the c-notch and flip on the rear. In there kit they gave me new leaf spring perch to replace the stock one. After I got it all together the rear does not sit as low as I would like. Has anyone put the stock leaf spring perch back on did everything clear ok ? I want to go down a few more inches and I did not know if I should use the stock piece. Thanks in advance for the help..

My brother in law has stock perches his but it’s a 4dr. I don’t see a problem with it. That kit is designed for the masses, not the few that want extreme low

I have had 2 Suburbans and a few 1500s and never changed the leaf spring perch. When I called Belltech they tried to say they add that with there kit to help get the pinion angle set. Never heard of that before. Was just wondering if anyone in here with a 2door lowered has ever ran into any issues.

How low did the suburbans sit?

I did a 5-7 drop on it and it rode perfect. Scrubbed a little bit here and there.

I like it. Looks like a good daily driver height, without being annoying.

Yes I agree, it looks great with those wheels and they sit perfectly in the wheel wells. Reminds me of our '06 Denali Burb when we got it, sitting just right, wide tires on big chrome wheels, and the wheels and grille are the only chrome on a smooth black truck.

Suzuki GSXR. I use to drag race bikes back in the day. I worked for a NHRA Bike team and Suzukis was all I knew lol
