Keyless entry remote

97 Chevy. Looking to get a battery for my key fob but don’t know the correct one. Anyone know which battery it takes? It didn’t have one in it when I bought the truck

You could probably measure the diameter of the holder and go to Lowe's or some place that has a battery display where they have an actual battery size chart to compare.

The fob uses CR2025, but I found that CR2032 fits too.

Last 2 digits are the thickness of the battery: 2.5mm vs 3.2mm, the latter has more capacity and will last longer.
