42 gallons - I have dreams about those tanks...

That was the Suburban tank on the 99 my brother had. The Vans and Tahoe are all 30-33 gal. $50 put 15 gallons of 93 in the van today. 15 gallons moved the needle from near E to 3/4 tank lol. If I top it off, I can generally go ~100 miles before the needle drops off F. The tank still has about 7-8 gallons in it when the needle hits E. I do not top the tank off unless I am going on a trip. I am lucky if I drive 50 miles a week unless I am going on a trip somewhere.
