So I'm about to buy a hydroboost master cylinder and booster for a 99-02 truck. I'm trying to locate the attaching brake pedal but I'm not having any luck online. Trying to avoid the trip to the junk yard. Anyone know what will work?

Alright so this is what ive found so far on Ebay.

Hydroboost mc for a 99-02 truck

Brake pedal for 99-06. Should I assume that's a pair and buy it, or are the pedals different for the years ect.

Anything marketed as '99+ online is usually going to be for the newer GMT800 trucks. Even though the 400s were available until 2000 most people mark the cutoff at '98 because the 800s came out in '99.

I've found a lot of the boosters and mcs for the 96-02 astro Van's. Is that what I should use including the pedal and pushrod?

I don't believe the Astros came with hydroboost.

96-00 C/K 2500s with 7.4 and TD 6.5 came with hydroboost. Rockauto reflects this. Not sure if they sell the pedal assembly, though.

All 96-00 C/K 3500s came with hydroboost, regardless of engine. Also 3500HDs. You know, the ones with the 19.5" wheels.

I don't know about Chevy full size Vans. They are all over the place from what I can tell just looking at Rockauto.

I hope this helps.

The 1/2 ton diesels came with hydroboost. The pedal is the hard thing to find, I hit our local junk yard and they only had 1, I now have it.

FWIW, a '95 K3500's 7.4L came with hydroboost as well.

Yes, that's what I say, I think. All C/K3500 came hydroboost, regardless of engine.

Maybe OP should just try to look for a 3500 pedal? On the 1500/2500 you have to check engine, and be hopeful engine wasn't swapped sometime. I'm thinking if he hits the junkyards.
