Not trying to be ignorant, I definitely support local any chance I can get, but I also want an American made part when I can get it.

I can appreciate that. I prefer American made as well.
But it is damn convenient to be able to drive down the street and pick it up or swap it out without having to rely on a shipper to get it to you.

I agree on alot of parts it is such as plugs and oil and all that, but if you are planning to change stuff like a bearing or what not then you have time to plan a few days in advance to order.

Oh, believe me, I buy American whenever I can. But if I need something, its right in front of me, and happens to be made in China, I don't lose a whole lot of sleep.
