This is how i made my own dash kit in my 89 gmc c1500
All you need is a dremel or small angle grinder

thats the only thing i didnt like is losing my storage pocket but hey sometimes you gotta make sacrifices.
Cant you just remove the casette player and install the stereo in the same place?

No the cassette player and EQ are to wide. Ane we don't have the pocket to get the extra plastic from to make the side panels
