Headlight harness differences

Hey guys,
I have a 99 crew cab but it’s been butchered beyond belief. Currently doing a total rebuild and need to know if there is a difference between the main connecting plugs on a 96 headlight harness and a 99 ?
Some
Pics show a round type plug on the 96 and others a flat type plug.

Anyone have any idea ?

They're the same as long as the 99 is a 400

If the truck in his avatar is it, it's a 400 CCLB dually. Looks nice!

The plug I’m referring to is the one to plug the harness into the main harness.
I bought a NOS headlight harness off eBay ( yet to arrive ) but noticed the main plug looks like pic 1 and is round.
Where as my 99 seems to have a flat plug as per pic 2.

Or am I just looking at things wrong
