Free way to stop your hitch from rattling

Work thought me this lol. I have to guage play for the s cam and wheel bearings. That freakin needle makes it look horrible compared to feeling lol

At work we have to use a guage to test play on misc components. Some being s cam, wheel bearings, and brake calipers

or related skills, would something like JB Weld work?

Doubt it. If your receiver is thick enough you can drill and tap it

I thought about doing that but I have the worst luck tapping steel. I don't have the best tap set.

Long as you start the tap straight lol

yes tap it, but use a heavy duty drill with a handle attached. go slow and go forward a thread and then back a thread and repeat.... your also really guna have to be careful while oiling it up. it has to be oiled or your guna wear out the tap and break it. I'm guna tap mine instead because I dont have a good enough welder for that thick steel.

and absolutely wear eye protection, safety glasses or goggles and a face shield. you only get 1 set of eyes.
