Quick question about proper fitment of the flywheel to torque converter. I'm working with a 5.3 and an older 4l80E (1994). I already bought the flat style flywheel from a 6.0/4L80E combo and spacer. Now I thought that's all I needed to piece them together. Come to find out there is still about 1/4 inch gap between Flywheel and torque converter. Ive been told to slide some washers in between? Dont know how that'll work out:hmm:hmm :hmm: . Welp any help would be appreciated Thanks!

1/4 inch is ok,, you will not pull the converter out of the pump if that is what you are concerned with,,if it makes you feel better,,put 1 washer between the converter and flexplate,,it should be fine, good luck with the swap.
