this is my 1995 c1500 originally came with a 305 tbi & nv3500, blew the 305 swapped in 454 out of a 1994 C3500 cab and chasis truck (i paid 2k for the whole 3500) was told it has 60k miles on a crate engine but i still rebuilt it with 750 cfm holley brawler carb & msd ignition performance intake manifold but kept the nv3500, sitting on a 5/12 drop ive been wanting more speed went through my differential and engine already and both of those are strong and ready but the trans is my weak point and is holding me back im going to swap over my brothers 2002 4L80E that only has about 20k miles on it before the 5.3 it was behind blew a hole in piston #5 it was rebuilt from jasper. im on a stock cam but will soon swap over to a cam on the truck. what flexplate and torque converter, starter and trans controller should i use? thank you

1st off, I've sent 900ft lb of torque thru an nv3500, and it took that for 30k miles. They are a stout transmission if you don't shock the driveline. However, you're going to get rid of that, so, that leads to my 2nd thing. I've done a few diesel repowers using the 4l80e, and always use the us-shift controller. Simple and effective.
I can't advise you on flywheel or torque converter. I'd probly call Jakes Performance and go with whatever converter and flywheel they recommend.
Edit: I forgot the most important part... That is one sweet looking ride you got there!
