Time to get the welder and a few 1/2x13 nuts. Should be an easy fix... famous last words.


SUCCESS!! The first try with a full thickness nut I did not get a good weld due to the limitations of the MIG torch. SO,,, I ground about 1/2 of the thickness of the nut away and I got a good weld. I will post pics soon, I have to work at 5.30 am.
