NHTSA decoder says

Gross Vehicle Weight Rating:

Meanwhile,
http://www.free-vin-decoder.com says:

BRAKE SYSTEM,VACUUM POWER DISC, DRUM (ROTOR=11.86X1.04, REAR BRAKE SHOE=11X2)

It also lists these "export" specific RPO codes for your VIN:

N33 STEERING COLUMN,TILT TYPE(EXPORT)
V78 VEHICLE STATEMENT(DELETE)(EXPORT)
N05 LOCK,FUEL FILLER CAP(EXPORT)
EXP EXPORT - I.E.S. EXPORT I.E.S.
MAE MARKETING AREA EUROPE(EXPORT)
KC4 COOLING SYSTEM,ENGINE OIL(EXPORT-IRAQ)
U18 SPEEDOMETER,INSTRUMENT,KILOMETER(EXPORT)

Didn't they have the export headlamps in 1990... the quad system with Bosch glass?

I know you've now got the Artebs installed.

I didn't think the JB3 brakes were available on 6-lugs?
6-lug WHAT?

I have every expectation that a 6-lug 2WD pickup will have better brakes than JN/JB3. A 6-lug 2WD would be a 3/4 ton, not a half-ton.

A 6-lug 4WD pickup can have JN/JB3 brakes, my '88 K1500 did. The "3" brakes were on the regular cab, 1500 trucks. Extended-cab 1500 trucks got JN/JB5 or bigger--which is how I got the upgraded brakes for my K1500. Didn't know the difference, happened by chance to be robbing parts from an extended-cab. Figured it out once I got the parts home, and saw the difference in the rotor thickness.

Kinda guessing that none of the SUVs got the JN/JB3, but I haven't researched it.

So the '90 K1500s were 6-lug while the C1500s were 5-lug? I thought all the early 1500s were 5-lug. A quick search of RockAuto shows me that all C1500s were 5-lug and that the K1500s were 6-lug. I learn something new every day. It wasn't a year split, it was a 2wd/4wd split.

6 lug 1/2 ton 2wd GM trucks weren't a thing until the 800 series.
