I recently had my 4l60e transmission rebuilt. I was talking to the mechanic and he said that a extra transmission cooler would be a great addition to my truck. I have the new cooler but I was wondering what size line I should run? 5/16 or 3/8?? also the cooler I have has been used is there a good way to flush it all out?

If it's a tube and fin style, you can just shoot solvent through it till it comes out clean. Stacked plate style coolers are nearly impossible to effectively flush and should not be reused if you suspect contamination. They aren't that expensive to buy new, especially compared to another rebuild.
