This. There’s nothing left, completely evaporated. It was a 1980 Suburu I bought with about 40k. Got it real cheap after it was in a hurricane flood. Within a year it disintegrated.

Not uncommon where I live. I passed on a '93 full-size Blazer with 80,000 miles because it sat outside it's whole life as a plow truck. It was in similar shape.

No rockers (not exaggerating), all fenders had rust holes, floor was going...Frame, axle, rear floor, and control arms extremely scaled.

Interior parts and under the hood looked exceptionally nice for the year. Started and ran fine, but would have been a mountain of money and work to restore even at the time.

But as bad as the coastal air is on rigs out in this neck of the woods, it’s still nothing on what you rust belt folks deal with..
