It can be fixed, but it needs to be cleaned up, assessed, welded properly, and reinforced with a diamond shaped backer plate. More to it than scabbing shyt together half-arsed. Not a job for 90amp flux core machine but shouldn't be thousands either.

It is easy. Drill the ends, V the crack, lay in some beads, grind smooth, plate the inside. It'll be stronger than the rivets its all held together with.
Only the crossmembers are Huck bolted, the engine and longitudinal rails are technically one piece.
