Time to steer this topic back on track with some updates. I have been kicking this idea around ever since i got my '94 especially in light of the rusted out cab corners on that truck. The logic being if im gonna spend 1K+ getting new cab corners welded in and the body painted i might as well spend a bit extra to make sure it stays in perfect condtion after. Im looking at about a 3K investment in getting the '94 done now that i actually did this on this truck. It cost me about $70 in paint and supplies to make it happen here but now that i see the general effect im liking it. In the '94s case i will be getting it professionally done with color matched Line X. Anyway...onto the pics from last night and today..

Last night after i finished working on it.

Well the HD harness from baron arrived this week and i picked it up after the funeral last night. Took a quick look at it to see what was all there and i gotta say this thing is a beast of a harness. Def looking forward to installing it. However the install will be delayed until my headlight housings and HID kits arrive. And even then it may be delayed a touch until i get ahold of a 94+ grille. That way i can take it all apart and reassemble it once. After some further thought today i think i will pick up the 285s that i mentioned next month as well as a set of black daytona wheels to mount them on for this truck. The wheels/tires may not be installed until after the front end crank is done because they may not clear the front bumper.

Still to order:

Smitty biilt street bar
6000K bulbs and ballasts from mobs for off road lights
94+ W/T Grille.
Ceco Black Daytona wheels
285 tires.

Gotta Love the Famous GM Peeling White Paint. Gotta keep my eye on this thread! good work so far!

Thanks!

Trucks coming along nicely! Bet those speakers really woke up the sound system! When I first installed aftermarket speakers in my 92 it was a hell of a difference
