Could be something as simple as the bed being hit. I can honestly say the bed on my current truck has been replaced due to a 16 year old girl rear ending my mom going 70mph while texting. No other damage and wasn't totaled. But I do see what you mean. Good thing I don't have $6500 lol

Man $6,500 for a 200,000 mile truck... I can never get over how high the resale is on these things.
If I got that out of my 88,000 mile Yukon I would take it and run. lol

This $6500 tag is pretty common in this area for these trucks. And everyone wonders why I was excited to find a good condition 97 for $2850 lol

The one I'm looking at has 330k but the engine looks really good. Worst thing about it is the AC compressor needs to be replaced. But when you're used to looking at trucks of like condition for around $5500 more or less, you get excited seeing them for a more affordable price lol. Plus I'm a cheap SoB, once I finally get an OBS, I doubt I'll pay full price for anything other then small stuff  :deal:

I got 3500 for my relatively cleanish (but clearly tampered with) 235k 93 about 2 years ago, so this seems a little high to me.

They sell quick too, so I don't know. But I won't paying more than 3k for one unless it's a really good truck for a really good price. But if I get this GMC, I will keep it until I have a son of my own or it gets totaled
