97 k2500, 5.7 vortec no crank no start

Okay, so my trickle charger is broken, but I did hook it up to a battery from one of my other cars, and it spun over with the spark plugs out. I put the plugs back in and it just clicks. I pulled the relay and jumped it with a jumper wire and still just a click.

Without a known-good, fully-charged battery and clean/tight connections at that battery, you're gonna get nowhere.

WITH a good, charged battery and good connections, you have a basis for diagnosing the actual problem.

While your waiting on a battery clean all the grounds, especially on the engine.

Tighten the bolts on terminals if you have layout like mine. It gave me few days of scratching my head and a new starter before I figured.
