97 k2500, 5.7 vortec no crank no start
Hello, my 97 GMC K2500 with the 5.7 vortec died when i was backing into the yard. Now it wont crank most of the time and when it does it cranks very slowly for a second or two. Any tips on diag?- jrmush3

Rear end id? please help.

Parting a 94 GMC1500 to a 97 Chevy 2500

2500's can't tow?
I have a 96 gmc 2500 single cab long bed 5.7 vortec rwd (8lug). I want to tow a Toyota t100 on a trailer. I put this combo on uhauls website and their system tells me it's a no go. But I can put a subarban 1500 or a base Yukon and it's fine. What gives?- Chrisdidwht

towing with a k2500
I'd like to tow a 6,880 pound travel trailer (loaded with everything its about 7,400 not including other people in the truck) and the max towing for the truck says 7500lbs which seems kind of low for a 2500. Will my truck be ok? side note for the trucks made before 95 the max towing was 8,500lbs... -

Suburban body to P/U frame swap
I've got a 92 suburban which is 2wd, and a 94 k2500 that has a shot body and solid frame. Am I able to just slide the suburban body on the ext cab, long bed frame? Both wheelbases are 131.5 inches.
