95 sierra air conditioner question

I know this is really old! But I just converted to R134A and Its nice and cool......unless Im in traffic. If I'm driving around it actually get's nice and cold. I was wondering if there was something I could do to mitigate that being that Texas get's hot as hell.

Electric fans work great for that.

My last truck was the same way until I installed E-fans. Then my AC would stay nice and cold no matter how long I sat in one spot.

Converted to R134a - less than optimal condenser, and probably the wrong orifice tube. It'll work, just not work great. Install 1994-up parts as those are R134a from the factory.
