454 TBI 4l80e FI tech or fast efi install help

I would like to change to FI tech or fast efi system any tips or pointers. I realize I'll need to change my fuel pump. Mostly wondering how to get my transmission to shift correctly once I remove the TBI. I have a 92 so it is the one year trans plug that isn't common. So doing a trans controller is a big job.
I really don't want to do a carb or tpi. If this has been covered please post a link searched and can't find what I'm looking for.
