I know there are lots of posts on here about a 350 with a tb spacer but couldnt find anything on a 4.3 with one. I've got my eye on a trans-dapt performance swirl-torque 1in tb spacer from summit for 48 +shipping. I was wondering the all mighty question "is it worth it?"

Ive heard mix stuff about putting one on a stock engine n it not doing anything positive. But on the other hand ive heard it helped with throttle response n even a 2 or 3mpg gain with fuel mileage.

So if its worth it how difficult/easy is installation? Basic tools needed?

A lot to be gained from cleaning the throttle body... Spacers, TBI mods, and the like, well, it's funny how everyone cleans the TB at the same time and notices a "huge difference".
