i have a 2000 cucv k3500 6.5 diesel with the 12v/24v system. It ran for the last few weeks fine until it completely drained the drivers side battery. Its been cranking slow but once it gets going all electronics work fine. How do i test the voltage solenoid on the firewall? And i replaced batteries so we can rule that out. The alt also charges just over 14v. With the truck running the passenger side battery will read what the slt is putting out while the drivers side battery sits around 12.5. Please help

I didn't even know GM offered a 12/24 volt system. Military-only deal, I suppose.

My K2500 truck has dual batteries, but it's all 12-volt.

Just thought id shared. It was simple. Someone on steelsoldiers led me to a dc to dc converter behind the seat with a blown fuse. It was behind a panel sp i never knew it was there.

Yup, all of the cucv had 24V systems. Military specifications. I'm glad you figured it out...
