I can only assume that it's money. The majority of people in my state are living either paycheck to paycheck, drug deal to drug deal, or trick to trick. Good credit isn't high on the list of things to accomplish when you can barely count to potato. So the insurance industry is probably giving Mitch McConnell ridiculous money somehow to allow it to happen.
I have horrible credit due to divorce and medical bills along with student loans. Now I have been involved in an accident, so I'm going to be paying 30%-40% more for insurance I'm sure.
