1998 7.4 vortec in a 1961 Ford Body With a chevy blazer Frame.

I put a 7.4 vortec with turbo400 in to my '61 ford f100 on a blazer frame. I have the vortec wiring and pcm for just under the hood. I've gotten it started it only runs for a few secs then dies. Does any one know what color of wires I need to jump to keep it running?

What year is your PCM from? It could be VATS (Vehicle Anti Theft System) shutting it off.

Got the fuel pump from the donor truck and tank. I've changed the oil pressure switch the fuel pressure regulator cam shaft position sensor the distributor cap and rotor news wires and plugs and the map sensor

I'm not sure if 97 had VATS, someone else will have to answer that. FWIU the best way to get around it is to tune it out.

I don't have Any of the interior wiring. Just the bulk head that goes into the firewall.

97 should not have Passlock/VATS, mine does not.
