The passenger side shim I show in my initial post is discontinued by GM. The snap rings are still available but they do not have the radius on one side of the ring like the factory ring to facilitate easier installation. The new rings work but require some finesse with dental pics to get them in. Ask your dealer to do a dealer search for the shim. Mine came from a dealer in Chicago. They are out there.
