All fuel lines fabbed up and leak tested. Tomorrow I am hoping to build a stand for the fuel cell to raise it off the ghost bed a bit and let me mount it securely. Hope I don't catch myself on fire.

In the cab you can hear the pump prime, but not like before. With the engine running, you can't hear over the exhaust. It even seems quieter outside the truck. Win!

I've been to car shows where it was a sea of GM muscle cars with 350s under the hood. It was not interesting. Your truck will be appreciated.
That's what I like about the Lone Star Roundup. It's not just belly button deuce coupes and Mercs and tri five Chevys and a few pickups. Over 2000 vehicles there this year, and all different! Even the hot rods with small block Chevy motors are different from each other, and enough of them have Nailhead Buicks, early Hemis, or even built flatheads to make it quite interesting to look at! There are lots of videos on YouTube for this year's show, that was held in Austin weekend before last.
And this year had more pickups, wagons, panels and so forth, than I've seen any other years. I saw a few old Dodge trucks there; the cutoff is supposed to be '63-65, but I saw a few newer things sneak in.

Welp, I built this little stand for my fuel cell and managed to not blow myself up. I covered the fuel cell and the lines in wet towels when I welded it down.

Someday I will change to in-tank pumps and drop it down between the frame rails, but this works for now.

Pretty cool show. Weather was a touch warm but otherwise perfect. My old beater truck got a fair amount of attention. Most people appreciated it. Had some good conversation about it.

Here's my top 5.
