14 bolt vs 14 bolt aam brake swap

i got a 1990 3500 and I want to convert to disc brakes.
and I have a 2002 2500hd with disc brakes and want to know if I can swap hubs and baking plates to my older rearend.
has enty body tried this yet???

has anyone tired to just switch the hubs even between the 2????

I probably would look up wheel bearings for both of them and see if the internal diameters are the same before I took either one apart.

2wd 14 bolt - same width as the 10bolt?

bearings - best place to look that up?
