“Western Hauler” Trim package???

i had bought this truck and never heard or under stood what “western hauler” means, was writting on the mud flaps and has chrome trim in the door jam that also says it and has actual wood trim in the interior. this was a month ago and its now cleaned up a bit and sitting on a 4 inch lift with some 37s, anyone know what western hauler is? would it be like the “king ranch” for the OBS? or like “saleen” for mustangs..where they take the car in its original form and add these as a package

It's an aftermarket add-on package, not factory.

They're still in business... mostly I think people know them for their "hauler" beds, which may be why it might puzzle someone to see a truck with Western Hauler trim labeling but still has a regular pickup bed.

Like many others this is another dealer sourced, not a factory trim or model option. Often a dealer catering to a local interest market.

Western hauler used to be the cats ass for hotshot trucks. And cattle trailer pulling.
now Bob King beds are what all then pipeliners are runing.

If i ever become rich & famous im gona buy a f450 or Freightliner M class w/ a western Hauler bed and a 42’ montana triple axle fifth wheel w/ toyhaulerbox.

western haulers are still around. but pricey.. and worth every penny.

the mudflaps are just that; kinda like puttin Cat flaps on a peterbilt.
