@Orpedcrow @fancyTBI gentlemen, I have fantastic news. From our previous convo about OEM radio repair and upgrades, I found the guy and he is beyond legitimate. A radio wizard you might say. Here is the info I got, will be taking my radio out and shipping to him soon.

From Mr. Lane:

“Here is what I tell people about what they get for what they pay:

It's $140 to do the Bluetooth add and a general freshen up. That includes the parts/labor for the BT and a cleaning from front to back including the contacts in all of the knobs, replacing the back light and any bad LEDs, maintenance of the tape deck/CD drive (cleaning, replace belt if it's loose). That price also includes return shipping.

Here is a video that KASL Customs did around a radio that I did for them. Check it out. It shows the connection process, etc

Is that something you would want to do? Cleaning/lubing those units are part of what I do with the BT add. If that doesnt do it then we can go from there”.

Really looking forward to getting this done, if anything I will be the test run. Hopefully this will be huge help for the GMT400 community.

@Orpedcrow Yes sir, guys name is Todd Lane. I heard he’s setting up an Instagram account for his audio/radio work but not sure if that’s operational. You can search him up on the Facebook.

I’ll have to get in touch with him. It would be interesting if he could add the necessary outputs I’d like for my system. Thanks for sharing the info.
