Update:

Vacuumed the system down for roughly 50 min to ~30in hg. Then let it sit overnight. After roughly 20 hours the vacuum held with no loss.

Then charged the system with (3) 12oz cans.

Now to deal with the squeal/chirp at clutch engagement briefly. Looking at the air gap seems it's right near the cusp of slippage. Spec lists it at .04-.08mm. I'll check it tomorrow with feeler gauge.
