I just got my truck running, but so far it's tried to be a tire killer. There's no progressiveness to the Sniper's throttle. Tap the gas and it tries to burn the tires off the rims. The tires that are on it are getting some weather cracks, so my AF Reserve paycheck this month will probably be going to a set of Milestar Streetsteels in 275/60-15. https://www.discounttire.com/buy-tires/milestar-streetsteel/p/34748

All that work at 191k ?? I own a 1995 Silverado C1500, extended cab, 360k original miles, 5.7l TBI, rebuilt 4l60e at 350k. Never had a major issue. Just typical maintenance.

However, I recently completely gutted the interior, had the seats recovered, replaced dash, carpet/padding, and headliner. Repainted all the trim. I’m about to pull the trigger and get her restored with a new engine and rear end. I bought her new and can’t give her up.

I have a 1996 C1500 with 220K and I drive her daily new trans a couple years ago and I need all new front suspension but I'll never let this truck go i promised her haha

Just remembered that the K3500 I used to have would eat a cap and rotor every 10k miles. Almost dead nuts on every time. I got really good and fast at pulling the plenum on that 454. By the time she got stolen, I could do the whole job in 30-45 minutes. Pull harness, pull coil and ICM, yank the plenum, change cap and rotor, reassemble. First time took me like 3 hours, last time was only a little over a half hour.

Guys, I think the killer is the aftermarket suppliers who get replacement parts over there! If you know what I mean.
