Yeah, the 6.0 MAF is the way to go. Just don't wire up the integrated IAT if boosting.

I don't have a larger MAF yet, haven't been able to determine if its actually a choke point, I'll probably swap it at some point just to see.
On the topic of TB's and MAF's; don't mess with aftermarket stuff, just get used LS stuff, as Supercharged suggested.
Yeah, I figured the LS stuff would be cheaper, $330 or whatever it is for a BBK, or maybe $50 for a 6.0 or maybe an 8.1 TB? Would either of those work?

I know that 99-00 LS powered trucks were DBC. I believe that 01 is as well.I have an LS1 TB to try out. Those are 78mm and have the same bolt pattern. I'm pretty sure the 99+ LS trucks were all DBW and I know the 8.1 was all DBW. Looks like stock can only be punched out to 78mm before the wall between the IAC cavity starts getting dangerously thin.
