no offense, but I would hardly call that wheeling the snot out of a truck, got close to the soft stuff and sucked in. bouncing your head off the roof while on the rev limiter, sawing the wheel back and forth trying to keep forward momentum through a bottomless swamp full of two foot deep ruts cause if you stop youre done, that is my definition of beating the snot out of it. including labor when I don't have time to do it myself, ive got well over 2000 bucks in the ifs in 200k miles.

So youre telling me you want to keep your truck as low as, or as close to factory height as possible, and still be able to do stuff like that? Something isn't right here :nono: There is something your totally doing wrong if you have over 2 grand alone in the front end of your truck. Period.

really? go to a shop and get a price on replacing ball joints, tie rods, idler arms, pitman arms, center link, and alignment, thats all been done three times in 200k. then add in cvs and actuators here and there . as stated before, I use my truck like a truck, it needs to be low enough to have the bed be usefull and pull trailers and fit in the garage and drive good down the highway. ive had trucks on 40s and loved them but they don't fall into that category.

Key word to why you've lost so much money.... Thats why you need to learn to do everything yourself, except for an alignment.

Ok, I'll do it all myself, with upgraded parts, plus a lift, and still not have a locker or much flex for around $2k. OR, I could do an sas, with upgraded parts, AND a locker, AND good flex, for $2k and/or a little more, doing the work myself. I did the math over and over again, and the logistics for what I want said that doing an ifs lift would not meet my needs, and an sas would. Plain and simple. That's why I'm going with a low profile sas.

You stated a few posts above that you were only looking to tow and use your bed. When would flex come in handy in any of those situations?
