Definitely a better looking truck than the outgoing GMT900 (especially the Chevy).

I still think the Chevy is not as good looking as the GMC, but the GMC headlights are a little too busy for me. The taillights almost look identical to the outgoing truck, which are ugly IMO. The steps in the bumper may/may not be a great idea. Looks like a 6.5' bed will be available with the 4 door cab (GM hasn't offered on either the GMT800 or 900). The silly 5 foot bed is worthless.

Both the GMC & Chevy are fugly inside. That dash is atrocious. The instrument cluster looks ok, but I'll bet it's nowhere as nice as the '11+ SuperDuty Ford.

Hate to say it, but I think I'd still rather have a Ford. I never thought those words would ever come from my mouth (or keyboard).

I do like the look of this truck (except the headlights)...

I like the GMCs except the headlights, but the new Ford F150s are ugly mainly cause of the taillights.

I like this option "To aid nighttime loading, LED lighting available on Silverado (standard on Sierra) mounted under the bed rails."

Also noticed the Z71 package is using Rancho shocks, not bilstiens.

"On the safety front, the trucks tout available lane departure warning, forward collision warning systems, and backup camera, along with standard trailer sway control, hill start assist, side curtain air bags, and OnStar telematics." - I wonder how well these systems will play offroad.... or if you can turn them off.

Not sure what i think of the interior yet. The vents right up against the cluster is weird, and the trailer brake controller above the headlight control....

Side shot of the Silverado, you can really see the GMT400 influence in the grille/corner lights.
