The 3 most used in the Industry are Solid Works, Autodesk Inventor, and Pro-Engineer.

Would any of you guys be interested in a weld-it-yourself bumper kit if I got something put together. I'm guessing final price would be in the $400 area.. maybe lower.

Attached is a pic of a prototype the company I'm trying to work with on this did, I would probably try to use that exact bumper and get dimensions for them to put one on our trucks instead of the newer one.

Getting him to do a front would probably take more work. I'm betting the rear would require minimal to no design changes, just new brackets... the front would probably be easy enough (seeing as our grills are flat) but I'd have to convince him that theres a market out there... and with a good portion of owners of these trucks being broke-a$$es (myself included), that'll be a tough sell.

I was going to college for ElectroMechanical Engineering before I joined the Air Force. And will start my degree back up here soon, along with my CCAF for Material Acquisition and Business. And looking to do some sort of front bumper up front with a winch and some light bars. And then possibly even fab up some sort of rack for the back but different since my truck is a stepside. I will want to be able to remove mine if needed.

But something like this would be best, up on the bed rails. And then I would probably make a removable cross member with a tire mount, and then some lights up front. And then make a custom soft top for it, with the plastic like jeep windows. It will look good from what Ive drawn up, and with the look I am going to be going with.
