I recently came across several yards of blue interior striped fabric for my 1994 Blazer. The fabric I I have has a thicker back on it and was I believe intended for the door panels. It is pliable but not stretchy. Anyone have experience with this fabric, or know if I could use it for seat reupholstering as well as door panels?

I’m certainly not an upholsterer, but from your description, it doesn’t sound like the correct material for seats. Go to the bone yard and find a similar “WRECKED” seat with holes to compare . I thought I’ve read where material on TBI seats was glued to foam.

I’ve never had luck finding a good matching cloth for the 88-94 seats. I wanted to get my WT cloth seat recovered years ago but
1) the cloth is glued to the foam
2) difficulty in finding a matching fabric
3) couldn’t afford new foam.
