Also I did find an actual 3500hd crew cab in Idaho almost to Montana but it isn't worth it. It supposedly needs a battery and starter to run. The ad says that it has new injectors, regulator etc. It is a 454/NV4500 and claimed mileage is 110k. However it doesn't have a bed and it is obvious that it has been sitting quite awhile all for the low sum of $5k. By the time I penciled it out I'd have to offer him less than half for it to truly be considered.

Holy cow! Does anyone really want to sell their stuff when they list it on farcebook? I made contact asking if it had a title, well I tried to, on December 4th asking her about her 3500hd. I tried multiple times in the following days with no response. I moved on. Out of nowhere on the 5th of January she sends "I believe so". I sent her a message with my phone number and I still haven't heard from her.

The guy in Idaho sent back that he would get back to me when he gets back from a run with a semi. I asked if he would call me so we can talk about the truck. No response.

Another one in California that we've messaged so basic info and I gave him my number and asked him to call me. Guess what? You got it nothing.

There was also the guy in San Francisco who suddenly ghosted me around Christmas when we were supposed to be there New Years weekend. We were but he never responded again and the truck is still listed for sale.

Sorry man. Are you doing anything that might s p o o k or annoy the seller? I don't reply to "is this still available" especially when I just listed it. I also don't like it when people start out with "What's your bottom dollar?". Then there's the 3 guys that are all representing the same person, and the main one seems a little too eager.

I got a "is this still available" about 5 minutes after I listed something , recently. Instead of just ignoring them, I told them "sorry, I sold it a week ago" :jester:

Nope, I definitely know better than that. Usually my first contact consists of a question or two at the most and then we go from there.

Gee whiz, I guess "sp ook" is a bad word.

I didn't figure that was the case, but it was the only thing I could think of. People can be weird.

Yeah. I have to admit that 4 out of 4 really gets discouraging. We're excited to move forward with this project and obviously this piece is where we have to start.
