Seems fine. Looks good too!
Yeah with that kind of mileage it’s really good looking. I don’t really want to put a lot money into it so I’m just gonna do some cosmetic touches, lower it, new exhaust and maybe some headers and call it a day. I was gonna add a procharger to the list but decided not to.

Not a real accurate way of measuring. If you're serious about performance, buy a Dragy as mentioned above. Couple hundred dollars well spent.
I might take the truck to the drag strip for fun on weekends but it’s not a for sure thing but I’ll keep the dragy in mind.

Does that engine still have the throttle body diffuser on the throttle plate? If it does remove it. Thats the first thing I do to any 4.3 or 5.0/5.7 vortec that still has them. Mainly helps with throttle response and not downshifting as much on the highway but I'm sure it helps a lot at WOT too.

Not exactly sure, I haven’t touched anything other than the spark plugs and air filter.

Thats the wide lip. My 99 Tahoe had that one. The one on my 97 van was 1/2 as wide. I remove them too. It does make a difference at WOT. My 383 has a BBK 80mm on it I found at the wrecking yard. $25 and it was like new.

If you're looking for faster 0-60 times, good tires, rear gearing, and a looser converter. These will deliver more performance than any other bolt on engine parts. Everyone wants to put on roller rockers, cold air intake, fancy air filters, headers, etc. but a converter with 2200-2600 stall and 4.10 gears will deliver way more acceleration than any of these.

I actually disagree. Air intake, headers and a tune did a hell of alot more than gears and converter. I then added a cam and 1.6 rockers. I gained over 100 hp at the tires.
