The ediff is amazing on track. It would be awesome if there was a standalone controller for it, but I can see how it might not be possible. I'm sure it needs a lot of inputs to get full advantage from it.

Maybe something simple could be done to just manually lock it.
I have seen a guy on YouTube who somehow hooked a dial up to it had full manual control over it but this just doesn’t seem worth the effort to me. Im fine with just the normal LSD in the 5th gen rear ends.

Wow that is EXPENSIVE but it looks like a lot of beautiful engineering went into that piece. I do like how the rack and pinion is mounted on that frame. I might mount a rack in a similar fashion on my truck. I’ve been debating between using elevated concepts rack and pinion kit or making my own kit.

Do you already have the Camaro IRS?

I came across an outfit that makes a kit so you can swap a C5 or C6 IRS into your project. One of the options is to use a Camaro diff, or you can do a transaxle from a Corvette. I absolutely despised working on my C5 because of that torque tube and other packaging issues, but it did handle well. Access would probably be better on a truck.

I’m actually going to pick up a 5th gen subframe tomorrow. Found a good deal on one. I did look at c5 and c6 irs setups but the camaro irs seemed like an easier route to go.

Look at the gallery White Chevy they built for Goodguys. A lot of things that catch my eye. With all the things going on with that truck you would probably miss the radio.

Anyone have some camaro related name ideas for my truck build? I wanted to do ZL1500 but I found a youtuber that already named his truck this.
