During lunch today I went to Oreilly and bought a TYC circuit board for the left tail light...they were sold out of the right side ones, but at least that side hasn’t given me issues yet. The TYC board appears to be better built than the GM and other aftermarket boards. Time will tell how long it lasts lol.

Just took the wife out to eat in this thing. It gave us no issues at all. It passed the wife test lol. She can’t believe that I have less than $1500 total in this truck.

Edit: I fully intended to get a pic of it “out on the town”, but forgot somehow.

Weird, for me it's always been the right side that has had issues.

True, I’m still shocked I talked her into letting me buy it so easily lol.

This is my 5th 400, and the first one I’ve ever had with board problems, but I plan on doing this one right by buying better quality parts as I can.

Knock on wood, I haven't had problems with the boards on my Burb taillights. Of course the right one is only 2 years old, and the left one is about a year old. Since the complete assembly is $22, plug and play, might just get another one if the board acts up.....can't do that on a newer truck LOL!
And these eagle eyes ones are plenty bright and have stayed shiny. Just have to stay away from lawn service trailers. That's what broke both of the left ones! Just because they can get their truck past me....often the trailer is a little wider.....

Sounds like those lawn companies need to teach their employees how to drive with trailers, lol.

While out and about today, I also got a new fan belt, and started stocking up for my brake overhaul project by buying both front brake caliper hoses.

I also tried painting my wheels again with a different color gray / silver.... it’s too dark but it’s good enough to ride until I find PY0s or chrome gmt800/900 wheels.
