This is a pretty good explanation, with a method of setting up such a system. This is from New Zealand, so the mileage is calculated with imperial gallons, which is 20% larger than a U.S. gallon.

Here's the systems from SnowPerformance. These have come a long way since I've used 'em. Much more sophisticated than the Edelbrock kits, which are still available.

most of the OP's gains from the meth injection system is coming in the form of a chemical intercooler, he is running a supercharger, so the cooling of the intake charge and help with reducing predetonation is giving him the large HP gain. while there are still some good benefits to running a h2o/meth injection on a non-forced induction motor, you shouldn't expect to see that kind of power gains.

DIY setups are not too hard with a good controller, there are several quality controlers, or kits that are out nowadays, along with snow performance, here are a few other companies that are around:

when i dynoed it on the 305...flipped a switch and got 40 extra rwhp from regular windshield washer fliud, 33% methanol...not even boost juice which is 50/50 mix

great truck, would u say the water/meth lit is worth it? i have been considering it on my c1500, mainly to keep the iat down and assist in cooling the 144. snow performance makes a kit for single carb roots blower style which is what i have.

Meth/water injection would make a huge difference on your setup. Run it preblower and it will keep everything cool and increase the octane rating of your fuel.

Yeah I was looking into the stage 2 kit from snow performance and it comes in right above blower and after carb, Looks to be a nice kit. Also have seen a lot of guys running the msd btm on their set up's.
