I resemble that remark! I blew my 700R4 (4L60) twice after I put some go fast parts on it.:biggrin: Hell, I even blew the 727 Torque Flight trans in my old man's 69 Coronet 440 pulling reverse drops :oops:, blew another 727 in my 84 W150 4X4, blew an E4OD trans in my 90 F250 HD Diesel SCLB, the list goes on :anitoof:. But my anvil is still in one piece - so far...

So I have never blown up a transmission[knock on wood], but I did lose reverse on my C1500 a few years ago. That was a *****. I had to be really careful when parking so I didn't get boxed in. I got it rebuilt three months later by a shop that I've had such good luck with, my entire family has used them at this point.
