Ond more question. Is it better if trans fluid is hot. Dealing with this.
I did this method also. It was summer but other than than that I didn’t warm up tranny fluid. You’ll see when clean fluid is coming out and that’s when you stop. Although, it needs to be at temp to get accurate Full reading on dipstick.

Agree with @Caman96. I'll add that when the oil's cool it's a little easier to manage... the pipes / hoses aren't hot to the touch and getting (cool) oil on your skin isn't a big deal. Too, if you plan to drop the pan and change the filter in the process... low temps are preferable.

Is that a "real" milkshake of doom, or is that just aerated fluid from being "spit and swirled" into a drainpan at medium velocity?

What does that fluid look like after being undisturbed for an hour?

ASAP after puking the oil into the pail, dip a sample into a glass jar, shine a flashlight into it and look for sparkles.

Swirl a magnet around in that soup and see what sticks.
