Pics will come when I have some daylight as well as this post being edited for more detail. It's a 2008 grand Cherokee powered by a 3.0 Mercedes diesel. This is just a pre post. I'll update it as soon as I get a chance.

My apologies. It's nothing crazy fancy. I waxed it yesterday but she's been gone all day so I haven't gotten any good pics of it really cleaned up yet. It was dark when I finished waxing it and she's been gone all day and it's dark once again. So better pics will come. I'm updating the OP now though.

Better pics will come when I see it again in daylight.

08 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. Loaded. Heated two tone leather, sunroof, Boston acoustics sound system, tow package, nice factory floor mats, full time 4x4.

Powered by a 3.0 Mercedes Benz diesel. 150k miles. Brand new brakes all around. Brand new BFG AT KO2 tires. Needs oil change, a/c leak tracked down and repaired.

Pretty rust free. There's some small stuff underneath. It's barely enough to be called surface rust. Pinch welds are clean, frame clean, body rust free. Dirty. But rust free. A wash, cut with Meguiar's ultimate compound, and a coat of turtle wax got it somewhat cleaned up nice. Paint still feels rough. It's not slick like it should be. Might need a good wet sand with some power tools next spring. But it'll be good for the winter.

Haven't seen her much. She was finishing up cutting it while I was mowing the yard and then we started waxing it. She went in once it got dark and I finished up the wax job. We haven't had it a week yet. Better pics will come.

Always loved the early to mid 2000s diesel Jeep's. Not many were sold though. BDS has a pretty sweet diesel Liberty.

I would try cleaning with a clay bar before compounding. It is quicker easier and doesn't remove clearcoat
