The roof mounted speakers of the suvs.I thought they were 4x6 in our trucks. Did some come with 4x10?

X2These are the newest version of the Kicker KS series 4x10s that I usually recommend to people looking for good replacements for that location.

Do you remember which colors were the power and ground for the 4x10s? I can't seem to find the answer online and I haven't got in there yet.X2
The Kicker KS series speakers are amazing! They don't have that great of bass (I don't care about that), but it is a huge improvement over stock. When installing my Kicker KS speakers, I had to drill new holes for them in the roof mounted ones and the front doors. The rear doors fit like a glove in the stock mounting location.

It's been a while since I've installed them, but it was pretty straightforward with black being ground and the other color being power. I took a picture of the wiring from afar, although I doubt it will be much help I'll post it anyways.Do you remember which colors were the power and ground for the 4x10s? Also, Metra makes adapters for the door speakers to retain your wire harness. I'll post it once I find it.
Thanks df2x4! I was also very surprised when I removed the factory 4x10 and saw a different plug. IIRC it looked like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019HHOOB2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_36ZIzb5JEWNSABoom!

Metra 72-4568. Works for the front and rear door speakers. I was surprised that there wasn't a similar plug on the rear 4x10s when I did mine.

Couldn't find this anywhere so hopefully someone knows and can help me out. Have a wiring harness going into the cab on my 94 c1500 5.7 passenger side just under the overflow tank and next to some of the heater hoses. I unscrewed the connection from the firewall but can't tell if it's supposed to disconnect or not.
